A chemical bond is the force that holds atoms together to form molecules. The bond forms because the combined state is more stable — lower energy — than the atoms existing independently. Recognise weak bonds that could dissolve under stress and either strengthen them or plan for their dissolution. Build covalent bonds with your most important relationships: deep integration, shared resources, mutual dependency.
