Faster Than Normal combines source material with AI-assisted research and drafting. Source links and dated updates help you examine the claims and context behind an article.
Editorial structure and review
Playbooks connect stories with decisions. The library organizes people and company histories alongside practical principles, mental models and decision tools. The aim is to make an idea useful in the context of a decision you face.
Sources let you examine specific claims. Books, interviews, company reports and other materials inform the library. Follow the citations to compare the analysis with its sources, including the period, units and context behind a reported number.
Review notes describe specific work. On pages with a dated source update, the note identifies which claims or sections were checked and the scope of the review. The date applies to that described update. Research depth and review history vary across articles.
Search helps you explore the library. Search results and related links connect the published playbooks, mental models, books and tools so you can follow an idea across subjects.
AI-assisted: research and drafting
Organizing source material. AI helps extract and organize facts, timelines and ideas from source material. These notes provide working material for research and drafting.
Synthesis and drafting. AI also helps turn research into narrative and playbook sections. Source checks and corrections can change the figures, claims and interpretation in a draft or an existing article.
Examples make assumptions visible. Fictional exercises let you explore how a principle might work under stated assumptions. Read their labels and limits alongside the historical material that inspired them.
Use the sources and any dated updates to judge which parts of an article answer your question. Where a dataset or worksheet accompanies a page, it offers another way to inspect the figures and assumptions.
